I find myself with too many projects going on, so it’s time to pass this one on to someone who will complete it and get to enjoy the finished car! Most of the hard work is done – all you will basically need to do is clean up some components, re-assemble the car and paint it. What you’ll get includes the following – basically everything you’ll need to re-assemble the car (see link for pictures): Complete body tub – sanded and primed. Four good fenders – some very minor bumping/smoothing required. Two doors – in excellent shape - as they came off the car. Hood, boot lid – in excellent shape. Several body repair panels included but may not be necessary. Excellent frame has been stripped, sandblasted and painted. Converted by previous owner to wire wheels (4 new 48 spoke wheels, new tires) and disc brakes – rebuilt calipers, new rotors, hoses, etc. Includes rebuilt early 5-main MGB motor and a four-synchro B transmission (not rebuilt but shifting smoothly per previous owner). Converted to 3.9 rear axle gears. Rebuilt shocks, new tie rod ends. Interior had been previously replaced and is in good shape – ready for re-installation. A beautifully refinished wooden dash and a metal dash are both included. Excellent steering wheel. Complete set of gauges and switches as pulled from the car. Two sets of glass (front and rear) plus new windshield and rear glass seals. Several sets of windshield and rear glass surround trim (hard to find stuff). New bumpers front and rear. Full set of rubber packing, seals and grommets. An extra pair of complete doors.
Lots of miscellaneous extra parts (including some “unobtanium” window trim pieces) – I parted out two coupes when I bought this one. The only significant things I know of that aren’t included are a wiring harness, a carpet set, a headliner and a good grille. I’ll also include an original 1500 motor and transmission if you want it.
