I LOVE this car! I would love to have a Herald convertible. I'd prefer the power of the Vitesses, perhaps, but the Vitesse 4-eyed front end does not appeal to me.
Your Herald, with it's original hubcaps & wide white walls is gorgeous. Post more pictures! She deserves to be admired.

Very nice! Looks great especially with the whitewall combination and hub caps. Great stuff. I know it's not very nice to think of but have you ever seen what Top Gear's James May did with one of these... check out youtube. smile... not that I'm suggesting you should, it would be a real pitty! Congrats!
I love Top Gear! I saw the program when James made a sail boat out of a Herald. Thanks for looking, more pictures to follow.
The second picture is with the new soft top. We were driving around with the top down today (feb 6, 2010) it was sunny and warm in Washington!!!
the lastest picture is at the end of a 300 mile road trip over President weekend. The wipers and heater worked great!!!
I had a Herald 1200 Cv in England as my first car, from March 1981 to November 1998, I LOVED that car, and I still miss it.
