1968 Triumph Spitfire MkIII 1968 Triumph Spitfire MkIII

I am selling my pride and joy, a 1968 Triumph Spitfire Mk 3. It has just over 97,000 miles, is currently painted black, is an original RIGHT-HAND drive, and runs great. It is garage kept except for the 5 - 6 times a year that I drive it. I have owned the car since 2005 and have loved it! I have a 2 year old son and a newborn daughter. I don't really want to sell her, but I recently haven't had the time to devote to this car that it deserves. She needs a new home with someone that will truly appreciate and look after her.

The rundown:
- She has just over 97,000 miles.
- I have been told that I am the third owner. The original owner was in the military and shipped it over from England, so it is a right-hand drive.
- She runs great! Keep in mind, though, that when the car is cold, you can't just jump in and go. It takes about 5 minutes to warm up so that it's ready to go.
- The body is relatively rust free. A little surface rust here and there. The passenger (left) door looks like it has had some work done. This was before I owned the car.
- I believe the car was originally British Racing Green. The black paint that is currently on her is OK, but she could use a new paint job.
- She has center knock-off wire wheels. They're in good shape, but not perfect.
- The top is in good shape, but not perfect.
- I have the hard top for it, which is in good shape. It has the "smoker's" windows on the sides, but the rear window is missing. Not sure about the mounting hardware. Mounting hardware may be in the box of parts I have.
- The tires are in good shape, but are showing slight signs of dry rot.
- The brakes stop the car well. Not sure how much life is left on the pads / shoes.
- I have put a lot of work into it... many new parts. I have a box full of new and old parts. I didn't throw much away when I replaced it.
- The seats aren't original. They are out of a Miata. They were in the car when I bought it. The backs of the headrests are worn.

I am telling you both the good and bad things about her so you can be as informed as possible.

I AM WILLING TO TAKE OFFERS AND / OR TRADES.

I don't NEED to sell her, I just want her in a good home with someone that appreciates her. I have more photos if you'd like to see them. Just email me.
