Bought as a parts car but maybe too good to just dismantle? She came with a current registration document and is still on her original 1963 registration plates. The engine and gearbox have both been fully rebuilt (with invoices to prove it!) pretty recently but never used.
The biggest issue is that the body tub is missing (doors, bonnet, boot lid and hood all still there). The previous owner started a ground up rebuild (hence the engine/gearbox rebuild - Chassis has been repaired/powder coated too)and dismantled the car and shipped the body to be shot blasted - the body disintegrated! Hence the abondonment of the project. Parts wise she has all the items you'd expect from a pretty early Spitfire4 - most of these will be used to ressurrect FC316 but I think FC14255 will also live again :-) eventually :-)
