1976 Triumph TR6

I bought this car with 12815 original miles on it and just finished a two-year frame on concours quality restoration. I have its complete history with all records since its first purchase. It was awarded a first place national at the AACA Eastern Regional Meet in October, 2012 at Hershey. More photos can be found at http://jeffs1976tr6.shutterfly.com/

Beautiful car, to my mind the 76 was the best looking year for the TR6 and yours is absolutely gorgeous.

Good looking! i just bought a 76 myself, long way to go yet.
did you remove the emissions? If so what results.

Hey Jack,
No, in fact I'm such a purist for stock appearance I was insistent in keeping everything in place. Even with all the junk they piled on in 1976 it still has some get up and go!

Thanks Jeffrey, The smog pump was off the car and when I checked it out it did not work. I then remove all the associated tubes, hose and valve. I have left the charcoal canister on. I don't see any big difference. I too would like to keep it as original as possible, but sometimes you have got to do what you have got to do. Engine compartment looks better without it. So much for EPA.
