Not to hijack the thread but do you suppose those two barrels on the front fenders of the Hillbilly's truck contained fuel for the truck, or for the occupants? I also like the sidemarker light hanging on the bed of the truck - a solution for Lucas electric perhaps?

Why is it that most spitfire owners seem to be over 6 ft lol....Andy I think it could be done. I know myself as soon as someone says it can't be done then I am on mission to prove them wrong at any cost smoking smiley

Yes Dave im still messing around with the idea, its probably impractical but im still ploughing ahead

I see something like the back seat from a Porche, kinda like 2 buckets with padding in the middle.

Im on the lines of the floor being the seat base the upright piece of the rear shelf as the back support.
Got to work out the bum and back padding.
Or a smilar design to the rear seat on a Honda Gold Wing
