I've had my 1960 TR3 since 1969. MY wife Marianne and I dated in this car and she married me anyway! In that time, I've made a few modifications to it. Some of you may know it as "The Blue Meanie", the TR3 with the tilt up hood, Brooklands windscreens and covered back "seat". In addition, I write a monthly column for Autobooks magazine called "Road Trippin'" and have put several of the columns into a book of the same name. It's available through my website or Amazon. On top of that, I've been the head disorganizer of an annual replacement drive for the old No Frills Iron Bottom. For details, email me.

We are expecting at least 300 cars and NO RAIN! There will be an Auto Jumble so stock up on those hard to get parts or sell off some of your "stuff!" Moss Motors will be there too. They usually bring lot's of sale goodies! We'll also have a couple of food trucks or bring your own watercress and cucumber sandwiches and brew up a cuppa! The Blue...

Road Trippin’ with Steve McCarthy Let’s get back to what we do best. It’s April, and No Foolin’, it’s Road Trip Time. At least here in SoCal, Road Trip Season starts when the rain stops. At least Planning for Road Trip Season. This is a great time to set up that spring/summer Drive that you, and maybe a few friends, also who have neat cars, want to take to set out for the backroads. The one I have planned here is a Three Day Trek, some of which is old, some is new, and all of i...
