Changed Sump Gasket

Posted on: Wednesday May 1, 2013

Changed my gasket and cleaned the sludge from the sump and discovered 2 out of 16 bolts stripped. Also found my brakes to start grinding in front...I thought they were in better shape than that...oh well time to replace rotors and pads.

Slave Still Leaking

Also put new KYB 3198 Gas shocks on the rear and adjusted the drum brakes while I was at it. Wiggles is driving much better and is actually less wiggly. I also rebuilt the slave cylinder the other day and stopped that nasty leak into the clutch area and on the pavement. The clutch is behaving a little better and I think over time might finally stop ...
