Upgrades And A New Room Mate For Sprites

Posted on: Friday February 26, 2010

Lots of changes since last post... 5 speed (T9) has been fantastic on Sprites! New front end, poly bushes front and rear, new sending unit on gas tank, new interior. All good! Only thing now is a new windshield as original is pitted badly. Ooops in the mean time could not help myself and bought a 1955 MGTF (only because the LOML loved it and caved :-) She's in storage in Michigan at the moment. Bring her home as sone as the weather warms. Can't wait!

Best thing I could have done was to install the Flame Throw...

Week 4

Posted on: Thursday May 24, 2007

Well, now that the nice weather is here, "sprightly" (as the wife didn't like "baby" or "money pit&quot is still waiting for insurance, safety and plates. I keep starting her up in the garage and drooling on myself, waiting for the buracratic ok to be in public. Winshield wipers were siezed but took motor and cable out, lubed/greased the daylights out of every moving part & back in business. New hood (soft top)recieved and was having problems fitting but after a lot of reading, will take her o...
