RB Dual SU Carb Conversion
Created on 2006-05-13 14:10:58
This is the current state of my dual SU carb conversion on '80 MGB LE using twin HIF4 carbs to retain emissions hook-ups. I started with a good used set of H4 SU carbs but needed emissions connections to confidently pass local emissions inspections. A substantial amount of research was needed to understand the proper workings of the emissions to develop a hybrid solution with obtainable parts.
She will now pass local emissions testing with only fresh filters and oil change and is definite performance improvement over the Weber setup that was on the car at purchase. I never was able to get the Weber to pass local emissions testing.

So you're saying the dual SU's are better than a weber? I have dual SU's on my '73 B and have wondered about a weber conversion.
