Still Ffff...reezing!!!

It's closer to summer, and the temps hover around the ffffreezing mark. Amazingly enough, the MG's seem to know that summer is nigh and liven up after a bit of coaxing. It sure is nice to be able to drive the cars once again. The initial shake downs are proving that the restorative work done to date, are making these 2 cars reliable rides. They both feel and run like new... Yeah!!! it's been worth the effort and expense. Lots of smiles per mile.

GT - New Master Cylinder

Master cylinder installed today. The only tasks left to do are a paint job and transmission rebuild. Ended up driving the car home in a snow storm today from the shop... Interesting change of weather. Good sunny days ahead for upcoming shows... yippee.

Spring Prep

Spring is officially here, and so are those unexpected maintenance needs that the cold winter helped bring along. Old' Blue needs a master cylinder renewal, and fidget has found a waytoleak antifreeze... O yah, my fuel lines have contracted causing their clamps to loosen off. That's all I've noticed so far...

54 Cadillac Sighting Today

On the way home today from a skiing trip, we saw a hardy collector driving his 54 cadillac along on a country road. Roads were bare, hardly any snow. If I didn't have so much paperwork to do, I'd venture out myself after that enticement.

Freeezing Out -30 C

Both MGs are tucked in. It's been a balmy winter until this last weekend. The mercury dropped out of the thermometer to a -30 C for the daytime high. I need to pick up a battery tender for the midget. She's having heart tremors. Poor thing...

Just a note to self. Nothing new to report. The toys are wrapped up and snuggled up. The only thing on the "to do" list is a new paint job for the GT, master cylinder. After that, it should be smooth running on some summer roads ahead.
