Waiting For Paint
Created on 2005-07-28 17:58:10
This all started last December when I decided to strip my car for a paint job. Once I got it pulled down, I discovered the DPO had done a dodgy sill repair job and had welded new metal over old and it was rusting inside out. I removed the floorpans and heel board extensions and then decided to go for broke. I replaced the sills on both sides including the inner sill. I then replaced the heel board extensions and floor pans. Once the welding was complete I painted the bottom in epoxy primer and coated the bottom in tinted truck bed liner. I re-attached the suspension and lined up all the panels. Once I determined they would fit, I sent them off to the painter so pre work could start. I hope to get the chassis up to him shortly.
