Door Openings
Created on 2008-07-02 19:46:47
Since things are already getting out of hand welding up all the body seams, I thought I would seal up the gap between the front fender and the inner fender (at the front edge of the doors). I will be pumping hot engine compartment air through the fenders to evacuate the engine compartment, so I'd like the area sealed to prevent tainted air from leaking inhto the passenger compartment, as well as reducing any whistling due to air leaks. I welded metal in the gaps, then ground it smooth and primed it. This should paint very nice when I finally get around to it.

Parking Brake 4 2 I have never liked the location of the parking brake lever for three reasons: 1. The interference with the Fiero seats I am installing 2. The cable location in the tu...

Leaf Spring Hanger Braces 4   The leaf spring hangers are just welded to the floor at the corners, so I thought I would reinforce them. This is not totally my idea- I found a similar installation for a 3 link s...

Seat Installation 4   I have read a few postings about installing the Fiero seats in MGBs, and want to make sure these go in essy. I'm doing all the mods prior to recovering the seats, just in case ther...
