Alternator Conversion

Replaced the old Lucas alt w/ a new Delco, Went to a parts store they did not have a new pulley but the guy was kind enoungh he went into the back and pulled one off an old alt and gave it to me for free.
Easy instalation rotated front housing ground down bottom support corner by alt 1/8th" and everything bolted up no problem.
Now my alt light goes out as soon as I start enginge, before had to rev to 2500-3000 RPM to get light to go out.
Also installed a set of telescope rods on trunk Put a set on hood several months ago. They sure are nice I really like the hood the old prop was in the way when u had to work on carbs or exhaust with props they are out of the way and hood opens a lot further. And you dont have to remember to push the release.
